Editorial review

The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 4.3
The most popular and also effective manner of protecting your photos against being counterfeited, stolen or used without your authorization is having them watermarked. Though watermarking is a rather simple process, performing it without the right tools can be quite tedious and difficult.
UMark is one of these right tools, as it makes photo watermarking simple, easy and fast.

UMark allows you to easily watermark multiple photos at the same time, in batches. It supports processing images of various formats, including popular ones like JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP. Furthermore, it offers different watermarking possibilities. For example, it lets you apply text watermarks to your photos, but also watermarks consisting of other images (such as logos), shapes or even QR codes. Various aspects of the watermarks, such as the position or size, can be easily customized by the users, to their liking.

UMark even lets you add some basic effects to the watermarked images: borders and shadows. Even though it’s a feature-rich tool that comes with a lot of functions, UMark is really simple and easy-to-use. There are no intricate settings and its interface is really straightforward and intuitive.

As you can see, UMark offers a lot of advantages yet it comes with a reasonable price. It gets my complete recommendation, as it works flawlessly and leaves no room for complaint.

  • The interface cannot be customized.
  • Though it's simple-to-use, it could use a step-by-step wizard.
