uMark can add watermarks to batches of photographs. Besides, it can help you automate the processes of resizing and renaming large amounts of pictures. Even though this tool is extremely easy to use, you can get a lot of assistance from the welcome tips, accompanying help documentation and even online video tutorials.
uMark has a nice and intuitive interface. However, I regret to say that placing the Add Effects and Add Filters commands under the menu Watermark can be somewhat misleading, as most users wouldn´t expect to find them there. The application can import not only separate pictures but complete folders as well. Once a list is created, any change you make will be applied to all its items. The tool can help you add different kinds of watermarks, such as text, images, and shapes. In all cases, the added elements can be customized. Moreover, it´s possible to change a picture’s copyright and EXIF information. An interesting feature, rarely found in this type of tool, is QR codes, which allows you to add any text, such as email and name, in encoded form.
In a few words, uMark is absolutely recommended if you need to add watermarks to multiple images. It has the advantage of allowing not only the common text and images but also other types of watermarks. Fortunately, watermark settings can be saved so that they can be used repeatedly. However, the tool has the limitation of not supporting camera RAW formats.
